“The difference between ordinary and extraordinary is that little extra”
On the occasion of Children’s Day, Salam Mumbai Foundation selected 10 students across Maharashtra for the Tobacco Free Campaign. 1 student from each school got the opportunity to meet the Governor of Maharashtra Mr.Bhagat Singh Koshyari at Raj Bhavan. It is indeed a moment of great pride and honour that our student, Bukhari Mubashshirah Tarique from Std 8th was one of them. The students prepared a poster to promote the message to refrain from tobacco which was signed by the Governor.
It was indeed a proud moment for Anjuman I Islam’s Begum Sharifa Kalsekar Girls’English High School that Mubashshirah has been actively involved in this campaign throughout and is doing her bit to spread the message in the community to make this place a tobacco free one.
